IMPORTANT PUBLIC HEARING

Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County 2030 Update Southeast Connector Alternatives

The Citizens Steering Committee, during their update of the 2030 Transportation Plan, will review and discuss the 2004 Version of the Street and Highway Element Deficiencies on the Freeway and Regional Road System in the Southeast Quadrant (of the Truckee Meadows/Reno).

At stake are the wetlands, the Rosewood Lakes Golf course, the Hidden Valley Regional Park, the planned Sharon Hills Development of 89 homes, and the Virginia Foothills Range. Existing community character would change forever. The impacts to the established community and surrounding landscape that encapsulates our Western Heritage would be substantial.
